What the numbers sayThe price is for Cortesso: the memory that follows you across every AI, the team of positions that remember, the continuity between sessions. None of that costs a token, so none of it is priced in tokens. Your positions run on your own engine keys, with the caps you set, and the engine bill is yours at the vendor's price.
What the encryption protects, exactly. Fact names, descriptions, bodies and provenance; event payloads; checkpoints and tasks; your display name, attributes and tone; standing instructions; captured conversations; files; keys. These are encrypted at rest with a key Cortesso holds, so Cortesso can read them and the nightly consolidation pass does. Not hidden: ids, fact types, confidence scores, tags, timestamps, and how often you are active. A passphrase-only mode, where Cortesso cannot read your store at all, is planned and not yet available.
